One million seconds is 11.5 days. One billion seconds is 31.7 years. A trillion seconds is 31,688 years.
A million dollars would change anyone's life.
Nobody needs a billion dollars, and a trillion dollars is so obscene that humanity deserves to become extinct because we've allowed this to happen.
Elon could singlehandedly save the planet, but he'll take it all to his grave (on Mars), and then lawyers will fight over his mountains of money.
When it's all over, his money will help nobody...and he'll likely break a trillion by fleecing retirement funds out of all their money when SpaceX forces funds to buy into the pump & dump.
It's funny that we're at the point where we have billionaires who aren't even on the same order of magnitude as those approaching the trillionaore threshold.
Imagine having 5 billion dollars to your name and some dude out there has 100 times that amount at 500 billion dollars.
Or with monetary comparisons, there's only a handfuld of countries on this planet with higher GPD than his net worth. Or, if that was somehow some kind of value instead of made-up numbers, Elon alone would contribute to the world about as much as half of Canada or everyone in Taiwan.
Obviously that doesn't quite work like that, but maybe one person should not have more financial leverage than majority of whole countries on the planet.
Very little of it is liquid though , and he only got this far because of US contracts. Billionaires should exist period. Also if it’s not liquid and it’s only finance because of stocks who cares. Start closing the fucking tax loop holes don’t let these fuck tards get away with taking out loans over their stocks and never get taxed.
Why? What good do they do for society that's not possible otherwise?
Billionaires shouldn't exist period.
Wannabe billionaire joins the conversation.
You mean “shouldn’t”, right?
lmao if you're a worker you're closer to begging for scraps on the street than ever being a millionaire, let alone being a billionaire
