Dunking on Liberals from a leftist, anti-capitalist perspective.

Dems keep working with trump to approve his picks, but what they won't accept is that if you sit down at a table with nazis, the only thing that's changed is the number of nazis at the table. @_cryptagion@anarchist.nexus

Don't underestimate the power of boycott and voting with your wallet. It's one of the few things - if not the only thing - left that people can do safely, that has a real impact on corporate decision-making. And since the corporations are in cahoots with the government in a fascist regime, that in turn has a real impact on policies.

What doesn't have an impact is people boycotting X, Y or Z one day when they get their pants in a knot over the scandal du jour that everybody forgets about one week later, and then it's back to business as usual. Corporations count on people's fecklessness and always wait long enough to see if the issue goes away by itself.

So if people want to vote with their wallet effectively, they have to do it in the long run.

/uj You don't "vote" with your wallet, you excercise political force though actual activism

[–] curbstickle@anarchist.nexus 2 points 3 months ago

You can do both.
