At least where I live, collecting unemployment requires doing tasks that I consider "working".

Yeah, they require (a very reasonable number of) job hunting activities, and also you also have to fill out a form every week to actually collect the payment.

Thats way more work than here. You can get away with applying for 0 jobs and of the case worker calls you up to check youve been applying for jobs then you just send out a few applications
