Nice guy is an identity group, not like an actual personality trait a guy has.

How much of that is a self-fulfilling stereotype though? Aren't most people aware of the meme that "nice guys" are actually douchebags? So if someone is self identifying like that, it probably also means they are severely out of the loop, which could correlate with other unlikable traits.
