It’s called blasting processing! As a reference to we all know the sega mega drive/ genesis. It’s a retro gaming space built around the standard definition era of console gaming!

The advantage of osmium is that they are completely privacy first, I like to think of them as the proton or tuta of discord like apps

Hmm, that is a decent argument. I mean, I do trust proton and signal, because they are privacy focused. But I also have an exitplan for those platforms, in case they do turn evil. Open source is great, but these platforms prove that it is not the only acceptable solution.

Signal is open source, including all their client apps as well as their server. Proton's client apps are open source too (but not their server).

They're based in the EU though, so we'll see how long that stays true.

https://fightchatcontrol.eu/

Chat Control didn't pass, but we'll see what happens with Chat Control 2.0 given most member states are in favor of it.

Also, they don't currently support E2E encryption, so I'm not sure how focused on privacy they actually are. That should have been a blocker for launch if so.

E2E is in the works. folf (the main dev) told me the reason E2E isnt out yet is becasue they want to make sure its not half baked
