United Kingdom
General community for news/discussion in the UK.
Less serious posts should go in !casualuk@feddit.uk or !andfinally@feddit.uk
More serious politics should go in !uk_politics@feddit.uk.
Try not to spam the same link to multiple feddit.uk communities.
Pick the most appropriate, and put it there.
Posts should be related to UK-centric news, and should be either a link to a reputable source, or a text post on this community.
Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.
If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread.
Posts should be manually submitted, not by bot. Link titles should not be editorialised.
Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.
Message the mods if you feel something really should be removed, or if a user seems to have a pattern of awful comments.

Your goodness and morals are only as good as the actions you take to support them - and he took, overwhelmingly, actions that were morally negative. He threw transgender folk under the bus, got the nickname "kid starver" for a reason, and under his leadership we saw the UK fall from 53% to 43% on the rainbowmap for LGBTQ+ rights - in a period where the rest of western Europe were overwhelmingly rising in terms of LGBTQ+ rights, putting us closer to the worst European offender Russia, with 2%, than we are to any of the 5 best European countries, 5th place being Denmark with 85%.
I can't say whether he has goodness inside him, or if he has staunchly "good" morals. But he certainly hasn't given me reason to believe either of those things.
No hate to you, by the way, just felt another take was warranted.
Yeah, fair enough. Thats a truism for a reason.
