I really won't be playing any soulslike games in the foreseeable future until I am retired. I simply don't have time to be playing hard games now I am a working adult. I used to play more hard games because of the satisfaction of beating a challenge, but if I only I have enough time. I play games to unwind nowadays.
I enjoyed Witcher 3 with a mod that let's you defeat each enemy in 3 slashes. Though the Vampire boss fight of the Blood and Wine DLC was a bit anticlimatic.
The talk of difficulty is overblown. You can always level up more and often bring a helper to difficult fights you're having trouble with.
If you can beat God of War, you can beat these.
Just takes a while to get out of the button mashing, checkpoint before every encounter mentality.
Yeah, I am not grinding just to get through the game easier. Fuck that shit.
I will just go play a different game that doesn't force me to repeat the same content over and over.
