I'd have to dig into the archives but all of Britain was once the Welsh, till the 'English' invaders pushed them into the pocket of land they are in now. I wonder if the Union Jack specifically left off the dragon, as to not recognize the welsh folk lore.

Which invasion? There were a few... To say it was all Welsh seems a bit odd. Everywhere has been invaded at least a few times. I think some are more a change of ruling class and others have more immigration of normal people.

I think the most well known ones here would be Roman, Anglo Saxon, Viking and Norman.

Its in the old hiatory books. The Welsh were from the Original Celtic Britons of the Iron age. Before the 'new' invaders.
