Since the third of the month (June) there have been 29 cases, in a pretty broad swath of southwest Texas. A case a day, or thereabouts. I notice the active/inactive cases are not near the border, but with it moving from Mexico into Texas, it stands to reason it's in border counties as well but has not been officially quantified yet. The flies certainly aren't skipping counties in their run northward, and there's cows in the border counties too.
