Surely in 2030 or something we'll get a phone that's all camera bump.

Aren't these new phones actually thicker than the iPhone 4s? Despite apple taking the thickness at its "" thinnest "" point (which can only actually be 0)

The iPhone 6 was the thinnest iPhone. They’ve been getting thicker ever since. Including or not including bump.

The base of the iPhone 17 pro is thinner than the 4 (8.75 vs 9.3mm) but the bump takes it up to 13mm.
