Who would want to ruin the surprise of another’s annual iPhone release? These people hate joy
I even ask myself if those "leaks" are actually real leaks, or if just disguised marketing campaigns to hype the stuff that few people would actually care
That's what I was thinking, especially with the headline
But in this case it looks to be an actual data breach, where the images are the less interesting parts of the leak

While previous iPhones have also had many details leaked in the run-up to launch, usually in the form of spec leaks, CAD files, and dummy units, this iPhone 18 Pro leak is the biggest in recent Apple history as these detailed schematics, blueprints, and pre-release test videos are ordinarily not available (even after launch!). We expect more information on the iPhone 18 Pro and other upcoming Apple products to flow through as the leak by cyber group World Leaks reportedly comprises over 200,000 files totalling over 630GB.

Edit: That being said, the leaked photos aren't exactly revolutionary either.

Aren't these new phones actually thicker than the iPhone 4s? Despite apple taking the thickness at its "" thinnest "" point (which can only actually be 0)
The iPhone 6 was the thinnest iPhone. They’ve been getting thicker ever since. Including or not including bump.
The base of the iPhone 17 pro is thinner than the 4 (8.75 vs 9.3mm) but the bump takes it up to 13mm.
So the phone is 13mm thick.
If we're talking the thinnest point, the thickness is 0.
I’ve gotta wonder why someone would risk their career to leak this of all things.
Someone probably said "Would you kindly zip up all of your testing photos and videos and upload them to this Dropbox?" to the AI customer service agent.
