I deleted all my scrooling apps and I realise how much I reflexively pick up my phone the second something doesnt need my immediate attention (hexbear.net)

It’s taking some getting used to but if i pick up my phone i can at least put it down quickly and then ill do something like use my grip trainer or pullup bar instead if something im doing is boring me. Its gonna take a lot of retraining to go back to not needing constant stimulation every 5 seconds.

I miss being bored I didnt seem to be exhausted all the time and had ideas and less anxiety.

Anyone else deslopped themselves?

That's one thing I like about Lemmy. There's just not enough content to keep you constantly looking at new things. And even if there was the algorithm is too shit to show them to you. I guess you could do new sort on all... But I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemies.
