His wife divorced him shortly after he became a billionare. Money is a disease

That tends to happen after you cheat on your wife with a gold-digger

I know it's a redundant statement but they became a billionaire AND became alt-right, especially in regards to their opinions towards the LGBTQ+ community. Microsoft actually scrubbed their name off of everything because of it.

It's really sad to me because I used to really look up to them as a Minecraft obsessed teenager trying to learn to program

I remember being told that I'd become more conservative when I get out of school and start making money.

Turns out that's just what shitty people do.

Why are you using they? Are they NB or just trolling them for their lgbt stance?

[–] NotSteve_@lemmy.ca 13 points 23 hours ago

That was completely unintentional lol. I haven't heard anything about him being NB

Money is a disease

That's what rich people want to make normal people think.

I think it's a disease a bit like addiction. Do heroin once and you will likely feel pretty good. Do molly a couple times a year and it will probably be enjoyable. Do either all day every day and you will be fucking miserable, but still paranoid about losing your supply. Money is pretty similar. If you look at any of the ultra rich, they are visibly immiserated and paranoid.

I think it’s a disease a bit like addiction.

Give me all your money then. Get rid of your addiction.
