user account management.
it actually takes over my thoughts a lot. user accounts shoild be their own service.
its a really really hard problem. to have something thats not centralized but protected against manipulation. i want to solve to so bad.
I think the W3C SocialWeb Working Group is working on Federated Identity right now to incorporate into ActivityPub.
there actually is a thing where every account is part of the system using tokens. I keep on meaning to do it more https://nostr-resources.com/#learn-more
The worst thing about nostr is that there is no fallback if your account private key is stolen.
That's kind of an insoulable problem though. If the private key isn't the single source of truth, then how do you define ownership?
Two private keys, one for recovery and one for daily use?
