I am confused about the sheer volume of seemingly illegal actions these fascists are getting away with. The amount of US citizens unlawfully detained, the warrantless surveillance and raids, the refusal to identify themselves, and the clear pattern of violence though indiscriminate physical assault.

Where are the class action lawsuits?

Why are no Democratic politicians calling for ICE's leadership to be investigated, impeached, imprisoned? Even if Democrats are kinda feckless and racist themselves, surely they're not as stupid as the Republicans and can see the threat that ICE represents to the economy, if nothing else?

I'm just astonished by the absolute dearth of any resistance to these squads of lead-poisoned idiots who don't follow any rules and are seemingly only motivated by a desire to hurt people.

Moreover... I want to believe in rehabilitative justice, and if we ever want to see former ICE agents get treatment and re-enter society as productive upstanding citizens, it would be best to stop them before they're too far gone. Not to make it out like they're the primary victims here, but I do believe what they're doing is actively harming themselves.

Because the ruling class is extremely vindictive, simple as that.

The Democrats are mad you didn’t come out and vote for Kamala Harris.

If you can’t get over the issue in Palestine, fine, we’ll make sure you get to witness how things turn even worse under Trump.

We’ll make sure immigrants and minorities, people you claim you want to protect, have it even worse under Trump.

We’ll make sure the economy is so bad that you lose your jobs. We’re willing to lose billions to discipline you.

We want you to crawl back to us, begging us for forgiveness, confessing that it is you, not us, who was wrong for not voting for Kamala.

People don’t understand how vindictive the bourgeois ruling class can be. They still fantasize that they can use their “votes” to force the Democrats concede to the left. It’s naive.

And fascist thugs roam the streets because the left isn’t putting up resistance against them. No matter how many people you claim you can recruit under Trump, if there is no resistance, the fascists aren’t afraid.

I wonder how much of that is just a byproduct of their apathy when they serve the donor class rather than active vindictiveness. They can't be bothered to help people when they're in power, so of course they aren't any more motivated to help people when they're out of power, either.
