Forgiveness can be great in certain circumstances, but it has to come from the victims, not from the perpetrators, enablers and benefactors of the violence (Democrats).

even if the people of iraq and afghanistan and his domestic victims all forgave him he shouldn't be a candidate for county comptroller, let alone a senator. former troops can clean toilets for a living, and mercenaries can do it without ppe.

go read about Puyi, and non-warcriminal janitors are welcome to run for public office or lead organizations.

Definitely a comment just about doing useful work after recognizing the harm you caused and taking accountability, no hint of this work being punishment.
