The goalpost you moved. I never said a one man team made a AAA game with $100M. I said an indie developer can make a DRM-free game, what's stopping a AAA dev (as shown with the AAA examples, clearly nothing other than choice).

So, Kojima could have self-published. Those titles are not just 'magically' self-published, there is a choice made there.
1/3 of the examples, yes. But they still did after 3 years, Death Stranding still hasn't after 6 years...
