United Kingdom
General community for news/discussion in the UK.
Less serious posts should go in !casualuk@feddit.uk or !andfinally@feddit.uk
More serious politics should go in !uk_politics@feddit.uk.
Try not to spam the same link to multiple feddit.uk communities.
Pick the most appropriate, and put it there.
Posts should be related to UK-centric news, and should be either a link to a reputable source, or a text post on this community.
Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.
If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread.
Posts should be manually submitted, not by bot. Link titles should not be editorialised.
Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.
Message the mods if you feel something really should be removed, or if a user seems to have a pattern of awful comments.

Oh yeah, we definitely want to be buddies with Russia. Fuck off with that. Won't address that any further.
Moving past that: lots of things you could say about the Greens, but they've been vocal about their ideals and are seemingly committed. That includes being pro-Palestine and trying to help the working class and other minorities. Now that might change in the realities of governance, but writing them off as equivalent to Labour is pessimistic to an unwarranted degree.
So international relations now have two status: "provoking for war" or "buddies". You have to tell that to diplomats all around the world, they been doing their job wrong from the start.
The people who own labour also own greens. Greens are just a backup plan, they will talk more the way people like to hear and all, but they will do the same things in the end. This is not pessimism, thats just how things are
Got any evidence to back that up?
Dont forget to come back to this comment if they win. I would be so happy to be wrong
That’s a no then
