Hello,

I'd like to move on from Google Keep for shopping lists and other similar simple to-do lists.

I've checked the thread for task lists, but all of them require you to make tasks one by one, and I'm just looking for a simple list that I can add to by typing something and pressing enter to create a new line.

It would also need to have tick boxes to mark the task as done and ideally move it to a section of tasks that are done.

You know, like a simple to-do list works.

Any recommendations? :)

Edit: I'm going with Quillpad, thank you ropatrick@lemmy.world !

I built tinylist.app a few years back and while it’s still chugging along, it’s basically in maintenance mode now.

Holy SCHIIT!
You did it!
I've been looking for a genuine Keep alternative for years! Lots of them were either too complicated, missing sharing, or just not even close. But you did it. Now one of us can be in the grocery story, while the other is checking what we need. It's perfect. And as things get checked of or on, they keep their order! So we can put them in the isle order of the store and we don't miss things, having to go back and forth.

EDIT:
I tested it all on my own and it all seemed to work great. Then while we're both using it, the shearing stopped updating. Every time we reload the page it checked and unchecked items get reset.
Android and Desktop, Firefox everywhere.

Yeah the conflict resolution of the live updates is really tough. It has such spotty usage that I never truly ironed it out. It works fine if it’s not at the same time. This is more a function of the local-first strategy that keeps the UX better. I really have wanted to improve it but didn’t really see a reason to with such low usage.
