Vowel is written differently and the are virtually only consonants
I'm not a gud speler.
They're vowels insomuch as they can serve as the nucleus of a syllable and can carry contrasting tone, length, and volume. The Romanization uses only consonant letters because It's an alien language unutterable by the human vocal tract, and using vowel letters might make people think otherwise.
Googling the language gives the extra info to understand. So this is a very niche language of a very niche community intended to be unpronounceable? I am confused as to how anyone would get your post.
Well, I just used the context clues of looking at the community this is posted in (worldbuilding) and the obvious non-human characteristics of the language being charted (whines, growls, yips, etc.) and it seemed pretty obvious that this was about some fantasy language to me. I'm not sure there is anything to 'get' beyond that.
