Analyzing a problem rationally, such as by separating modifiable and non-modifiable factors allows us to identify where and how we can intervene effectively to do something about the "unbearable heat we now get every summer." Instead, angering at the non-modifiable sun is channeling hopelessness or signalling defeat and, most importantly, is a vote to maintain business as usual (eg, more fossil fuels) versus advocating for Green Transition Now. Angering at the sun is the proverbial 'putting one's head in the ground'
