I have never used. But apparently GPT 4o is (was?) great at sycophancy. Now OpenAI have started routing emotionally loaded queries to GPT 5 which is emotionally detached. So these people are losing their AI companion.

As a developer, I wonder why they don't just use the API where it is still available. It might even be usable without any client software via there own "playground" page.
