Most people join the US military to get socialist benefits, calling random soldiers who have likely contributed nothing to the attacks in Iran and we're likely in the military before Trump declared war and are bound by law to stay in, thugs is a stupid take. Are there terrible people in the US military sure, but I'd argue that most of them are decent people trying to eek out a basic life and would prefer not to kill or be killed in combat.

The US Imperial military is itself a horrendous organization, filled with people that signed up to willingly participate in the war machine.
