If a block some user/community/instance on Lemmy, do we become invisible/incommunicable to each other, or we just won't see each others posts on the feed? (lemmy.ml)

It's seventeen minutes after you replied to me and I can not only see your reply, I've upvoted it and made this reply.

And unblocked. Interesting. When I blocked you, I couldn't see my own comment made to you anymore, nor your comment. Couldn't find or up-/downvote you.
