So I'm watching a video about the debate between Lenin and Trotsky by Noj Rants (who doesn't appear to be a communist but the videos appear to be very well researched) and he talks about how the Workers' Opposition wanted Unions to be the leading economic organizers of the economy? Is there a way we can evaluate different government structure theories, because as far as I know, the economic organization of the USSR was done centrally by GOSPLAN.

Hold up the state didn't plan the economy in Yugoslavia?? That sounds like a planning and standardization nightmare!
