Yes and most of the source videos. The reality is that only people in Maine get to decide if he is fit to represent them.

Also a good progressive updates their positions when presented with more and better information.

I dont know how many tattoos you have, but in my experience when you get a dumb drunk tattoo you only remove or cover it when there is opportunity or reason to. Most of the time you keep it as a reminder to a point in your life. So yes I can totally see someone from a rural state joining the military, getting a bad ass looking tattoo with his buddies. Then discovering its history, deciding not to do anything about it because the meaning for him is tied to his experience and friendships.

Keep in mind that the US has a massively flawed education system, and Platner served in the military and did not have the prerequisite information to make an informed decision around the tattoo.

I would have been in the same boat and I came from a rural state but with an exceptional education and from a highly educated family. He is not a perfect man, from a State that is not perfect, with an education that is not perfect, and some history that is not perfect.

Most importantly is that he is NOT calling for Nazi shit, he is calling out the genocide in Palestine for what it is, he is standing on the side of the disenfranchised who have been lied to by the political establishment by both Democrats and Republicans. He is so far the best chance Maine has to unseat an incumbent Republican who has ACTIVELY harmed their own constituency and the people of the US, who has actively assisted in sponsoring genocide and unchecked imperialism.

So meaning to or not, this video is doing the work of the establishment and billionaires by promoting misinformation along with a narrow perspective of a flawed system offering a flawed choice.

I am not saying Blue no matter who, I am saying at least this guy does not want people disappeared, tortured, and murdered.

One of the key pieces of misinformation is his blackwater services. He served for 6 months as an embassy guard through blackwater. His 3 previous tours in Iraq and Afghanistan were not consensual past his initial signing of his military contract. Once you sign up, the military can without your consent re-deploy you for additional tours. People can claim he is a mass murderer if they want, but I would ask that they provide evidence of that, and not pretend he joined blackwater to go kill "towlheads" or some shit, because that is factually inaccurate.
