Wow, first time I heard of Sinterklaas being celebrated in the US.

Based on an old Dutch tradition, Sinterklaas is a day-long celebration in Rhinebeck where the children are dressed up as kings and queens and revered as the bringers of light at a dark time of year.

This sounds so much more wholesome than how we celebrate it over here.

I’m sure they would’ve gotten federal funding from this administration if the celebration had Zwarte Piet(Black Pete)😒
