Work Reform

A place to discuss positive changes that can make work more equitable, and to vent about current practices. We are NOT against work; we just want the fruits of our labor to be recognized better.
Our Philosophies:
- All workers must be paid a living wage for their labor.
- Income inequality is the main cause of lower living standards.
- Workers must join together and fight back for what is rightfully theirs.
- We must not be divided and conquered. Workers gain the most when they focus on unifying issues.
Our Goals
- Higher wages for underpaid workers.
- Better worker representation, including but not limited to unions.
- Better and fewer working hours.
- Stimulating a massive wave of worker organizing in the United States and beyond.
- Organizing and supporting political causes and campaigns that put workers first.

Ya STARS is one of those things most people don't pay much attention to until it's needed, but they are a really nice thing to have especially considering how large our country is.
My trip with them was about 80 miles to Winnipeg, and took about 18 minutes from the time they stuffed me in the back to the time they put me into the ambulance at the airport. I can't imagine how long that would have taken by ground.
Honestly I don't think I needed to get there that fast, but they were worried because I had head trauma and had lost a lot of blood so they erred on the side of caution, which was understandable.
https://www.stars.ca/ is their website if anyone is wondering what STARS is.)
