Donald Trump’s administration has made billions of dollars in revenue from Venezuelan oil sales this year, but it’s proving tricky to work out where that money has gone.

The US took control of Venezuela’s oil exports earlier this year after the military operation resulting in the ~~capture~~ abduction of president Nicolás Maduro.

Vice-president Delcy Rodríguez was installed as leader, and the US suspended some sanctions on Venezuela with Trump saying they would help “fix” Venezuela’s oil infrastructure to “start making money for the country.”

But, six months on from the US taking control of Venezuela’s oil exports, there is little evidence of any economic boost for the South American nation.

One upside is that the normies wont be able to pretend things are okay any longer.

These actions are a festering wound on our chest. There is no hope for amputation, a cure must be found.

Why are things so blatant now a days? No subtlety. I dont believe the fully automated army is complete... so why show your hand this way?

Just like all the Germans who snapped out of it and stopped pretending things weren't normal in 1933, right before things got out of control!

I would argue that this blatant corruption was started by Dick Cheney when he was vice president. Before Cheney began openly defying precedent and the rules set in place, politicians did their best to hide their contempt for the rule of law and did their dirty deal making in the dark. Not ol’ Dick, though. He didn’t give two shits about what was legal or ethical and now here we are. The world is better off with that fucker dead.

In many ways the blatancy has been a good thing, it's the level of corruption now by Trump, his family and cohorts that's way beyond 'out of control'.

But at least the rest of the world are watching and hopefully noticing similarities with any of their own politicians antics to compare.

Thanks to Trump, there are at least some telltale signs to be looking out for.

Hopefully Venezuela gets their oil money back and his filthy dirty rancid hands away from all of their assets.

His term already seems incredibly long.

Colombia just elected its own Trump. You can't make this shit up.

It's mostly that we let rich people buy up all media though.

What else do you expect.

If you give people the power to manipulate the way we relate to each other and to the world.

the normies are pretending just fine. they don't even know this is happening. they don't even remember where Venezuela is. Things are this blatant because they know they can be, because if people were serious about doing something about it the powers that be would be worrying about catching a bullet.

Because fuck you, that's why.

Honestly that's probably the only motivation trump needs.
