is there like ANY version of fortnite where you can play with windows users? if not what are the best alternatives?

I have a PC in my house where the SSD has linux and windows is on the harddrive. It only boots for league of legends and its fine.

I'm sure it has no problem running the game from Windows XP days.

The OS, unlike the game, is constantly running. It's not a slight difference.

A person running in this configuration can often look forward to stuttering, which makes for a wonderful time.

You're hilariously making out a configuration from a lifetime ago to work nearly as well.

Fortnite and an OS on a hard drive is going to be a very bad time.

What a strange thing to be contrarian aboot. It's almost like you're defending storage prices.

They are speaking from personal experience. Why are you forcing an agenda on them. Have you tried running Fortnite + Windows from a hard drive? Because it sounds like they did something that was pretty close

I've been through most stages of computing. I remember being a wee lad with 5.25" floppies.

There isn't much I haven't experienced.

What they did was not close. Not even similar. They're playing a game from 2009 on a HDD. It doesn't require much.

Storage is expensive. Wasting money on equipment that will leave you disappointed isn't what most would want.

Spinning rust is fine for most games on a second drive.
