The framed problem (Christians under attack in Africa) isn't entirely accurate, so it's not that useful

Although the country is officially secular, Nigeria is closely split between Muslims (53%) and Christians (45%). Despite violence against Christians having garnered international attention, analysts say the causes are more complex, with many conflicts stemming from ethnic rivalries as well as land and water disputes, among other reasons.

Kidnappings of priests and pastors have surged, as criminals see them as high-value targets whose communities can raise ransom quickly, prompting some analysts to view their actions as driven more by criminal profit than religious discrimination.

To put it more simply, Nigeria is facing an ongoing insurgency that targets both Christians and Muslims (for being the wrong kind of Muslim). Anyone who only wants to talk about one part of that violence and not the other is making their agenda very clear.

I sure hope they're not gonna use it as an excuse to legitimize an invasion, but it's at the UN, so should be harmless.

Yeah, I read that too. Should have made more fun of her.

I don't consider it an actual invasion, but it sure is perverse. Especially trumps wording and the date.

I'm not even religious at all, but still I know this is heavily unchristian behaviour.
