From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).

Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word "Linux" in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.

What even is zorin os lol I've never even heard of it. Normies really do surprise me often like this, like they mathematically calculate to pick the strangest least expected things through the most alien of mechanisms, it's always fun trying to figure it out after the fact. Delightful news!

Remember when Covid happened, and suddenly every normie was using Zoom, instead of existing, well-established platforms?

I really don't get why you wouldn't just use mint coming from windows. who is making these recs? I only hear "mint! mint!" in my circles

I know at least one person who has had a couple of false starts with migrating to Linux, is now on Zorin and thinks Zorin is much more polished looking than Mint.

Yeah but that's the thing they're in completely different circles. They might as well be from another planet to us lol
