For instance, I cannot for the life of me figure out how will the American communist revolution happen or if it will ever happen. And I have no idea how we can create a world in which narcissists and bigots will wither away since they are so powerful now under the current system.

So, if I cannot figure out something by myself, do I just have hope that someone else will be able to figure these out? Is that part of revolutionary optimism, to have the hope that if you cannot do something other comrades will be able to do it?

"how a revolution happens" is not something you figure out on your own. it is "figured out" by the practice of a revolutionary workers party
