Filling your own tunnel with pissed off Scorpions sounds like something from a shitty adventure movie, not real life.

I expect some of it's true, but most of it sounds made up. Has a where's Waldo vibe. I'd be interested to read more sourced info about this.

If I were to guess, I'd say some of these were used some of the time, but you weren't going to find an example of all of these traps in every tunnel. Perhaps some of what they include was just a one-off or was only used extremely rarely, but this graphic would have you believe they were everywhere

There are lots of personal stories written by vets which mention the various traps used in tunnels.

The Marie's even built one of their main bases right on top of a mega tunnel complex. Chi Chi
