I'm back on Kerbal but this time I have Mechjeb to handle the parts I'm bad at, like flying rockets. Now I can just plan missions and build a good rocket for them, and not worry that I'm going to tap "d" too many times during takeoff and slam into the ocean again.
Now I'm planning a Mun base near the Armstrong Memorial. I could just land my first hab with a lone scientist in it, but I want to get my whole crew xp for the landing so I'm making a big overcomplicated boondoggle that will launch both the habitat and return rocket into munar orbit, where they will detach and land near each other. Then everyone can get out and play in the mun dust before everyone except the scientist climbs into the return rocket.
