yeah, that could be fun. probably gonna be the best star wars game in 20 years, which is saying absolutely nothing at all
IDK Empire at War was a great strategy game (early 2006, barely fits the requirement) and I know The Old Republic scratches the WoW itch for many of my friends. I also had a ton of fun in the original Battlefront/II.
Funny you mention that. People who said Total Warhammer 40k couldnt be done look no further then Empire At War. Replace the planetary combat with Dawn of War 1 and you have a game I would play for 10.000 hours. (Just as an example)
The guys who are doing 40k did Halo Wars 2, and are a Creative Assembly studio. There's an even more recent example.
