In Seattle the city men are also wearing flannel, and the women, the enbys too, everyone and their dog has flannel, it's flannel all the way down
They should make one about a woman who's an executive in renewable energy. She lives in a small town with her boyfriend who's an agriculture executive. Their hectic jobs require them to live near their most important projects.
She goes home to Seattle for Christmas where she visits her parents in their downtown penthouse. She encounters her flannel-clad, highschool boyfriend, who she thinks is still a barista, but it turns out he owns his own coffee chain. He was just covering a shift for one of his employees who's a single mother and had an emergency. He's good to his employees that way. Obviously, we don't learn most of that until the end.
Her Mom urges her to maintain the small-town life she worked so hard for, but flannel man teaches everyone the meaning of Christmas and a choir of children sing carols as credits roll.
Even that famous psychologist chap?
