Hey guys! I'm a 18 F! My name is Gabrielle, and l like trying new things, traveling, sushi, urban exploring, acting, modeling, nature walks, late night drives, going shopping, haunted houses, etc. 💐

A little cheatsheet for lemmy specific features:

To refer to a user, use @username@instance.com
- ex: @binette@lemmy.ml
To refer to a community, use !community@instance.com
- ex: !socialclub@lemmy.world
you can check which instances yours is federated with/is blocking by scrolling down and going to Instances
when you post, refer to not only the community rules, but also the rules of the instance that community belongs to
you can block an instance if you don't want its content or users to appear on your feed
if your comment/post got removed, or you have any mod action done to you, you can scroll down to the modlog (sometimes it's only available on the webpage of your instance) and look up your username.
- in the same vein, you can check any mod action that was done to any user by going to the modlog and typing their username
