Yes. And it's been debunked as probably fake AMA. There's little doubt that reddit is full of paid actors, spechially for industries like animal ag. But the post itself was fake and had several inconsistencies.

Tbf, news outlets report on whatever slop comes out of Reddit these days because it's easier than doing actual journalism.
Do they investigate beyond the reddit post and confirm the information?
If the source was still just the reddit post, how is that any more credible? I'll try to find the video essay breaking it down.
