I'd certainly agree with you if it was an image, gif, or a short video, instead of a full-blown song.

But, firstly, most metal genres feel quite jokular already — and the heavier and more involved, the more tongue-in-cheek they are. Except for some weird kids in the original Norwegian black metal scene, of course, who couldn't tell the boundary between fantasy and reality. Overall, metal folks should definitely be able to take a joke.

Secondly, I don't think Lemmy can quite afford this level of nitpickery when a typical post in the community gets around ten to fifteen upvotes tops. For now, I'll stick to the three music communities I participate in.
