A gaming community free from the hype and oversaturation of current releases, catering to gamers who wait at least 12 months after release to play a game. Whether it's price, waiting for bugs/issues to be patched, DLC to be released, don't meet the system requirements, or just haven't had the time to keep up with the latest releases.

I have a lot of games I haven't played yet in my library, so I will patiently wait for another sale

Understood. Buying all the Star Wars games.

Jedi Fallen Order and Jedi Survivor have a really attractive bundle for both, actually. Pretty fun games if you like the soulsbourne formula.

I know this isn't all _that _ helpful but for me what worked was finally forcing myself to start playing a couple of the games in my backlog. It made me realize that I can really enjoy a lot of the games I already own which decreased my desire to buy more games.

Yeah, when I get the urge to buy, I go through my library and pretend it's a "store", and "shop" for something I haven't played.

Small psychological trick that...seems to mostly work. :)
