How are you so healthy and habit-maintaining? Explain yourselves!!

I've been trying to eat breakfast lately but my body thinks I'm trying to kill it and everything feels like I'm eating sand lmao

What are your quick breakfast meals? Do you feel like your body hates you when you try to eat first thing in the morning?

asa-explain I think the general advice is to eat something light when you first wake up because your metabolism isn't quite ready to process a big meal. But that's dependent on the individual, sometimes I wake up ready to eat something very substantial. It really depends on how much I ate the previous day.

Eating fruit or something like orange juice can be good because it has a energy producing effect, readying your body for a more substantial meal. A banana is a great start.

I do like smoothies at any time of the day. My essential ingredients for a smoothie always includes banana and orange juice, the rest of the ingredients are up to your preferences.

What you eat really depends on your goals for the day and your general overall diet. Sometimes I don't really eat that much until lunchtime, but you do wanna make sure you're eating at least every four hours, at least a light snack.

honestly, my favorite thing to eat for breakfast is leftovers. It's the fastest thing and usually what I want the most.

Oatmeal is really good for a second breakfast because it's a whole grain, you can also put fruit in it, my stepsister used to put peanut butter and cinnamon in oatmeal and it was so good. And it's usually more filling than just eating white bread or something.

Speaking of white bread, toast is a good but very basic thing to eat. Bagels are delicious, but not very filling by themselves. You can of course get better quality bread that will keep you full longer.

Putting stuff on the bread is recommended. A simple sandwich is perfect for second breakfast. I also like to put refried beans with salsa on toast, and it's very good. Any sort of nut butter is viable too, peanut butter and jelly. You can also add sliced bananas.

I like to have soup for breakfast with rice. Fried rice can also be a pretty decent option.

Really you can eat anything you want, I remember the days when I would just eat a whole plate of steamed broccoli for breakfast, or just eat pineapple right out of the can. I also sometimes eat things like cake or ice cream for breakfast.

But for simplicity's sake, I usually narrow my options down to a few things and make that and switch it up from time to time.
