Interesting idea but I think it's gotta be made to work without helium to be viable.

Well, the alternative is hydrogen, but we don’t really want potential Hindenburgs floating around everywhere, so there’s that…

Hydrogen would be fine as long as it's not flying above an inhabited area. Helium supplies are limited.

With forest fires already more rampant every year because of increasing drought? I don’t think so…
