No, I simply read wikipedia and followed the news as history took place and over the years I noticed so much hypocrisy on the US side and so little information from the other side, that I started to read more indepth to see what else might be going on.
I still remember how many times the invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq were called "full scale invasions of US aggression" that impede on these two nation's sovereignity.
I also remember all the things said about "US freedom" a million times, like other countries will always use more tarrifs, because they don't have such a great democracy like the US, which is why the US will always have the most open and free trade.
And so many more things.
Like one poster here said, most people in the west don't become communist by reading communist propaganda, but by reading capitalist propaganda and seeing through its contradictions.
