Your comment references the account of a book called A Libertarian Walks into a Bear. It's a great read, I recommend it!
The New Hampshire Fish and Game Department would not let anyone in the state hunt the bears despite reports of attacks, so some local Grafton residents took it upon themselves to hunt them. Problem solved!
