Do we know for sure that she didn't ask? We only know that she didn't get her eggs.

It would be dumb if the first request she made that they turned down was made off camera.

Though, I could see them starting season 2 with the Hive bringing her the eggs. Just to close that plot hole.

Wouldn't that make her immedately not want to work with Manousos to save the world as the risk for being hived is again, gone?
