[Update - 12/26/2025] - Taiwanese outlet, CNA, has received a statement from ASUS regarding the DRAM rumor and stated that it currently has no plans to invest in a memory wafer fab.

I looked up cxmt as I wasnt familiar with it. It's from mainland China, while Asus is from Taiwan, do they want to sell the limited supply to the rivals?

Sometimes, business is business. Samsung sells displays to Apple, and recently, Samsung refused a RAM order from Samsung Electronics
