And schools pushing kids to be trans is somewhat a thing.

Excuse me? Got any evidence for this bullshit?

Well for decades sex education was railed against as promoting promiscuity and sex outside marriage even though shotgun weddings and 'premature' babies were the norm on my home town long before sex education was.

It’s what I explained. Not that it is literally that, but that the way they talk about it can sometimes be seen as pushy. All I know is what my young family members tell me, this was not a thing when I was at school.

You're literally just pushing soft conservative talking points trying to indicate there is an issue there while not providing any real evidence to back it. Gender affirming care is important, it saves lives, there are plenty of guard rails in place to make sure it's not improperly administered to young trans individuals, and the regret rate is very low.

You trying to insinuate there is an issue there is literally bullshit.

I’m not pushing anything, I’m relating the opinions of people around me. Why the fuck would you expect me to bring evidence for that? I don’t know shit about this issue, I’m telling you what I hear people say. Argue with them not me.

Lol, you made a claim, said something is a thing, refuse to back it up, and then say you're just relating what other people say. Either grow some balls or learn how to think for yourself, because you're seriously lacking in something.

When did I ever make a claim? The first sentence of my first comment was literally that this was what I heard, not that it was the truth.

I myself don’t care enough about politics to really know what the situation is, hence why I did not state my opinion on the matter, but one thing I do know is that what lemmy seems to think is very different from what people actually think when you leave your basement.

To quote Russell:

The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, and wiser people so full of doubts.

Lemmy, just like far-right forums, seems to be full of people sure of themselves.
