you could also say that schools are pushing kids to be cis today.
and i get your point about surgery being a big impact on somebody's life (and i personally would never undergo a not medically necessary surgery myself), but most of the time, teenagers (if they're taking any medical process at all) take hormones (which is swallowing pills) which by the way is also done by people with diabetes (insulin is literally a hormone) and so it's kind of a "routine thing" and that's why i wouldn't call it surgery.
Most of the time, though, it's not even that; it's literally about clothing and stuff.
This is why I kind of look forward to our generation dying off 50 years from now. We may have started the progressive shift, but we are tainted by the old world, the wrong world, whether we like it or not. The world will never be a better place with us around.
I just hope the fascists don't win.
I agree with all of this, really it’s the ugly 1% that most conservatives are upset about.
