I'm visibly trans so like I wouldn't feel comfortable or safe sharing a room with these people unless I were armed. You can talk with them all you like but nothing would be lost if these reactionaries were tossed down a mineshaft. They're slime to me. I don't blame them for anything, they're not at the levers of government power or the machinations of capital. I also don't care who they vote for since America is operated by the whims of imperialism rather than public input. That doesn't change my personal feelings in thinking every single person there should be ripped apart by wild dogs.
I have friends who are trans but I don’t know that I have heard this phrase visibly trans. Also, maybe my town or friend group is more open but if someone is trans it’s awkward to me personally, not including anyone else’s awkwardness or our own baseline awkwardness…. but generally just start using the new pronouns but I mess up especially for my friends who I’ve known a long time… I don’t interact with my trans friends every day though because I’m not on social media or what not to be honest.
Does it just mean that you’re having trouble finding your style or something. Is your style some kind of thing that is just blatantly offensive to weirdos somehow, lol? There are a lot of weirdos in the world and you may be one of them, but I hope you’re doing your best as you are able to have or even search for to find your best life. Always interested in learning about all of our stuff but it also ain’t your job to inform everyone or speak for an entire group of humans lol.
Visibly trans means I don't pass as cis. Anyone who looks at me knows that I'm trans. That's OK with me though since I'm non-binary and don't wish to pass as any particular gender. But it does mean that I'm occasionally in situations where a bigot wants to give me dirty looks, or try to call me a slur, stuff like that.
Personally I'm doing great and know exactly what my style is and who I am. I'm at peace with myself and I have a bunch of interests and artistic pursuits. Which I believe is a big reason for why I know who I regard as hostile. Anyone identifying as an open republican, conservative, right wing, etc. They're all either an idiot or someone who should get lined up against a wall and shot. If they're simply an idiot then yeah, put them in re-education and scrub their brain clean of everything rotting it. I do not have sympathy for adults openly identifying themselves as fascists or transphobes or whatever. They're utter scum who shouldn't feel the confidence to air their vile hatred in public. They should feel a permanent fear of public consequences.
This is why I own guns by the way. I do not feel comfortable sharing a country with this scum. I don't feel safe existing in a country where any random person could be a reactionary bigot who also has easy access to firearms. So I simply don't have sympathy for people who I might potentially have to shoot in self-defense because they thought I look too gay or whatever. I don't have sympathy for people who don't believe I should exist.
Neither their nor your hate is helping either one of you. But wishing violence on people is seriously a you problem to be honest.
But also, these are zoomers. They most certainly have at least one gay friend or family member, and a few of them would have a trans acquaintance, friend, or family member and possibly someone who identifies as non binary. Things change… slowly… we’re all stubborn, even you and I… but I hear you…
